This threat predominantly affects cryptocurrency holders using Google Chrome wallet extensions like Coinbase Wallet, Trust Wallet, MetaMask, and OKX Wallet. It targets 20 different wallet extensions to steal user funds by extracting credentials stored in browsers and monitoring clipboard activity.
